Oregon Contractor License Classifications

According to the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB), anyone performing any type of construction activity should have a contractor's license. The scope of the job may include operations such as roofing, painting, siding, carpentry, flooring, and heating, among others. In addition, if the project requires plumbing, air conditioning, electrical work, or other comparable tasks, you need to apply for a license.

Residential Structure and Endorsements

Residential endorsements will enable contractors to work on smaller-scale projects. This includes single-family homes, apartment complexes, or condos with four or less levels, as well as individual units in a high-rise building. There are four residential endorsement classifications for contractors in Oregon.

Commercial Structure and Endorsements
